bad buy bonnet

How do you open it when the front laps over the front of the release clip?
can it still be reached or so you have to remove it?

i only came in here cus i thought it was gonna be a ????? bonnet. i suppose it depends how bad u wonna go. if not too bad shouldnt need to move it, but if u wonna go th same way brett rogan with the v6 went i supose u may have to move it unless u could get ur hand up behind the bonnet. make it , see if u can get your hand up, if not move it.

You have to cut a section out of the grille, but so it is still hidden by the bonnet when it is closed.

You could also use bonnet lifters and a different catch release, for example a mk3 escort one. fo sho.

I just removed my safety hatch ( or what it's called ), and keeped the release thing..

Easy peasy then. Do you use bonnet pins, 'just in case' though? Wouldn't want the bonnet opening at over 100mph.

is that the supernovas extended piece? if so thats what ive got but ive not attached mine to the bonnet, made some mini clamps for it and bolted it where the headlights are bolted on and double sided taped underneath it:

i prefer yours as on mine there is a slight gap between the extra part and bonnet, yours looks nice and smooth.

i bought a whole bad boy bonnet skin with vent, was only ?125 and once painted should look phat! looks rubbish at the moment coz my cars red and bonnet is white. got the bonnet skin from quad conversions
