Scrap Yards

I went done to one of my local scrap yards today to look for a calibra/cavilier turbo and spotted a nice black Nova GTE the only thing wrong was Drivers side 1/4 lightglass was smashed and door lock had been at with a screwdrive.


So i asked if they were able to sell it on. The B@st@rd said No. It hadn't been in any colision, it looked all straight apart from it looked like someone nicked it.

Could be a couple of reasons..

Its a CAT B write off in wich case shell must be crushed

They value it far more in bits than as a whole car

They might already have people buying parts of it

They dont like you

maybe they'd only just nicked it, and hadn't had time to strip it down???

Offer em a ?K, den u can tell if its a cat B write off or if they value it more in parts dan as a whole car.

I could just get Reg No. and Chassis No. to get a HPI report done on it to find out.
