well if your gsi is a 1993 with multec injection and the astra was a mk3 and your engine is MPi then your sorted it will all just plug in
if its a mk3 mpi lump and your nova has an older system your gonna need the engine loom and ecu from the astra
if its a mk2 lump its gonna be a carb in which case your gonna have to either convert it to injection by acquiring a nova gsi top end or convert the nova to carb - either way is a bugger so i hope u aint in that latter state :/
thanx for bein help full ther dave :D
aragorn it a j reg gsi an the lumps is out of the same mk astra the digi dash comes in if that makes any sence.
thanx
Digi dash was a mk2 astra b-j reg (i think)
If this is the case your engine will be a carbed model wich means you dont need hardly any loom just an iginition to switch it.
Why on earth are you fitting a carbed astra engine into a GSi? :?
i will find out what lump it is to mora when i go to work
ben: its free so i thort sod it ill stick it in lol :P
Elliot.
its probably the 1.6 8v 1600SV engine and i wouldnt recomend using this as a replacement! there carb and 20bhp down on the gsi/gte lumps!!
it wont be in ther for long :D
got any mk2 grills?
p.s. prefer them not broken thanks
