Nova GSiT conversion?

My mate wants to know what goes into converting his L reg gsi with no afm, into a 1600 8v turbo, i have heard there are conversions, which cost a bomb, are there off the shelf parts he can buy to convert it?

he is a vaux mechanic, very good one at that, so the practical side shudnt b a problem, just the theory.

i guessed at diff loom, pistons, manifold, perhaps 5th injector, actuator and so on?

If there is any info can you point me in the direction plz?

courtenay make a manifold for a turbo conversion, i too am considering this conversion,, do some searching on here and on migweb, it takes time but throws up something to get you started

Look back a few pages for a thread entitled 1.6 GTE Turbo........I think thats what is was called.
Lots of info about it on there.
