Guages in MK2 dash...

Hello, i will soon be getting a nice nova, I will be putting 3 guages in the dash, I saw a blue 3-door nova saloon with 2-door hatch arches, 17's and a turbo motor at donny last year,
He had 3 guages in the dash where the heater controls should be in a mk2 dash, Looked the bollox and i'm gonna do it,
Just wanted to know, does any1 know what i'm talking about for starters, and if so does any1 have any pics of this cars dash with the guages in, also need info on how the controls for the heaters work, i know the middle 1 (fan speed) is electric so can extend wires to go anywhere, But the other 2 are on a cable i think, would it be poss to get longer cables? Thinking of having the 3 controls in the glove box on a custom panel...

It was a Total Vauxhall cover car last year, might be worth getting the back issue.

robs is the same setup but with 2 guages and a cally t panel in place of the radio

Cheers bud, that panel looks smart, But i will be having a sterio in the car and want the guages where the 3 heater controls are just above the radio...

Thats why i'm askin... Could allways just geep it on hot on the windscreen and just have the control for speed, then i can turn em off or open centre vents for cold air...

exactly... mine allways stay on hot, 1, windscreen

I have 2 gauges in mine. The centre is still the fan switch.

I have a summer (cold) and winter (hot) setting.

I left it directed at the windscreen. You forget all about adjusting after 10 mins

Yea, when i had my old nova i allways had mine on windscreen on hot... dont need to change it really, then i will still have controll for the speed because i'll just wire that sumwhere else like back of centre consol...

Gonna get them guages that light up 7 diff colours, think 3 there would look sweet at night, also you can get them plasma dials for nova's now, so will all light up blue at night... Link below...

Thats why I said it looks rough. It was only posted to illustrate the gauges in the dash.

I had already thought to cover the underside of the graphic eq. Its a build pic, ie, not all the dash has been put back in. But this has since been moved and replaced with a screen

Speakers, fair play, now replaced. They were just a temp while I was between systems.

guess I will have to find a superior pic now!!!

and the steering wheel :P I like it, much better than the standard parp.

Plus it is snap off too, so everyone thinks I am carry my PS2 wheel around.

loose the hazzard switch, and fit a huge revcounter on the top

No chance... gonna have a 52mm rev counter in the middle with a volt guage and oil pressure eather side... more for looks really, will be nice having a rev counter because it moves more... them guages can be lit 7 diff colours at the touch of a button...

They seem to do a rev counter, Oil pressure and volt metre in the style and size i want, Just impossible to work out the prices...

Can sum1 work out what it will cost me, Did you get yours mail order ste?
