getting petrol cap off

wen i bought my nova i wasnt given a petrol key. how do i get da cap off? iv been told 2 drill the lock out or break it off. i dont wanna drill it out really in case it makes spaks n blows my car up so how do i break it off?

you could try a screwdriver in the lock. there not the most sophisticated type of lock.

lol is that the "technical way" ,im sure when u get the lock out you can get keys cut for it

i had the same problem mate when i bought me gte
but i got all the way 2 the petrol station and didnt have enough fuel 2 get home so had 2 rag it off with a screwdriver
