Tyres please

I need info on tyres,like whats the widest I can go on 14"x5.5(I think) cav CD 5 spokes?-what profile is best and whether directional tyres are worth the prices,Im hoping for 195/55/14s or 195/50/14s but dont really know whats available,any help would be great

Well I run 185/60/14 on mine, and I think Saxo VTS runs on 185/55/14, so I'd go with Saxo tyres. If you can get a 195 it'll probably rub your archs if the cars lowered as mines pretty close with the 185 on. HTH

195's will rub, especially with larger profiles, as the tyre bows out more than a lower profile.
