Free engine mods

Can i do anythin to my 1.2 for free that could improve performance like drillin airbox or summit ? :roll:

Is it a 1.2 Carbed engine or 1.2 Injection?

Makes no difference for free mods but does make a difference.

the only thing to do for free is to make sure everything is adjusted correctly, make sure the vacuum advance still works and find a bit of old heater duct and make a cold air feed from the plastic bit next to the rad to the oval hole on the filter. for a few quid, the exh manifold and downpipe from a 1.3 will help breathing. other than filling with super unleaded or that stuff michael schumacher and those fish on the ad use, I can't think of anything else.

But if it's a carb'd model then I'd leave these type of mods until it warms up again because you'll only help carb icing at this time of year by doing it.
