Induction kit on a 1.4 16v

Is an induction kit the best way to get more power and sound from the 1.4 16v corsa engine. Or should i buy a panel filter and drill out the air box. I read in total vauxhall that induction kits would suck in too much hot air and slow it down and ruin the "air flow meter" what ever that is.

drill some 15mm holes in the side away from the engine on the airbox. you get better performance and it sounds mint!!

1st thing you wanna do is get a decat pipe. but keep the cat for the MOT!!

next step would be something like a velos powerbox
