I did 14.065 @ 101.92. Chuffed to bits with it
Before today my best was 14.804, I went wanting to do a 14.5, but screwed that over.
That was with all my regular interior, the misses clothes and ****e, and my 16's.

im intrested in the spec.
as apparantly the car isnt stripped out or anything. ect ect.
Hmm wonder wot times it runs regular??
Ill post on mig tomorrow i think and find out. big up to the lad tho!

his spec is similar to Dicko's but he has a lot of Speedex race parts as he knows the guy who makes it all. (they supply SBD)
His car is very normal except the engine, very nice guy.
He is going to strip it out as every now and again he asks about my cage

Any Max power times gen? Rick
I would belive anything Miles says, if anything he is likely to add a few numbers than minus them.
He is very humble buit very dedicated he has tired virtually everything on that engine and built the throttle body kit himself by just buying different parts of different companies.
I know he has spent a lot of time setting it up correctly.

I've got a mate with a 1.6 16v on Jenvey throttle bodies, he ran a 14.4 at Avon raceway last year, with the car stripped out on 15's. The only other engine mod on the car was larger injectors. He rebuilding the engine now with cams and some head work and is going for a sub 14 next year.
His regular interiour is stripped... Though he makes up for it in body weight.
No major biggies with the engine.
Pocketed standard pistons, fast road cams, jenvey 40mm parallel bodies, deseamed rods, lightened flywheel and balenced bottom end, skimmed head, porting (manifold and head) by moi. On DTA management.
Chris.
Hi,
Thanks for the comments. :D
The interior is stripped, by regular interior i mean as how i use it everyday, just with the two buckets, door cards and dash. I only said regular because some people on mig have a thing against taking bits off your car just for these things.
I took the front tyres down to 22psi.
I dont actually have any speedex parts, he just mapped my engine and sold me some bearings and piston rings.
Spec is:
Rebuilt in shed by ChrisB with monkey jobs done by me!
Standard F15 without lsd etc
C16XE
ChrisB ported head
Std pocketed pistons
ChrisB deseemed rods
balanced bottom end
lightened flywheel
standard valves, springs etc
verniers
piper 285 fast road cams
ARP rod bolts
ChrisB matched inlet manifold
Cream injectors
DTA management
Jenvey 40mm parallel tb's
90mm trumpets
motorsport fuel pump
black top fpr
8k rev limit
erm
I had it weighed about 2 weeks ago and it was 810kg, would have been a little more when i ran it due to some luggage......and all 90kg's of me!
It made a genuine 164bhp and 130lb/ft last time it was rollered at Robspeed.
I've got a cage now, picked it up on the way back from pod, 6 point safey devices one that was on here last week. That will slow me down, must lose some weight.....
I would belive anything Miles says
I have a 13" penis.
I have a 13" penis.
So thats why Scott was walking funny all weekend?
Ahh someone else with a 13" dick
Anyways well done and for what its worth I'm not sure that not weighing a lot is all that its cracked up to be if it means you lose traction badly as a consequence. Well thats my excuse anyway
Dan's a fat arse and he did a good time so it must be so
PS I think you've just got an automatic invite to the Novaload 1/4 mile shootout thats gonna be held next yr :D
hehe, cool :D
My seats were digging into my sides on the 280 miles home from pod so i think i need to lose a few pounds!
I'll save for some more speed then!
Your PM box is full on mig btw.
Damn there me thinking i'm special and 2 others brag about the same 'special' attribute  .
CP, its time to fit a better FD or do the 1/4 on a non quaife box. I reckon you'll go below 14.5secs.
MC
me finks its time to panic cuz i wanted to race him when mine is set up :|
he forgot to add he has a 4 branch manifold :P
now what were you saying about his map MC?

So much for wanting to have one of the quickest 1.6's in the country
F**k it, might just get myself a 2.0 Turbo, LOL
