I used to build them up as race cars to be used in the super coupe cup, had the turbo engine mind but the smaller engine models are still good cars.

Was thinking of getting one myself as a second car, but think im going for a cav GSI now.

Yes mate, i used to build honda crx aswell for the same championship, shaired the same engine but the rover had the addition of a turbo.

Had loads of the things lying around, but i dont work there any more :(

Well put it this way mate, after building the car with a second hand rebuilt engine, We used to nail them round race tracks all season and only ever had one engine go on us. As long as they have been looked after you will do well to blow one up :)
