I am going to be taking your lead and putting a bass port in my grill, well two any way! Could you mail me some guidlines on how you did it please.

You'll have trouble fotting two in because the radiator is in the way, are both gonna be used or is one gonna be a dummy ? Both at one side or one at either side ? Let me know what your thinking and i'll see what i can do.

One wil be the same as yours (used as air duct) but the other wont be for N E thing, i am thinking about putting it on the other side. Als i am going to paint them to match my car, i was just wondering would the plastic type bass ports melt or would they be o.k.

I'm not sure about the plastic sort as i've used the chrome metal one's as used on the Vibe boxes, these are ?16 each. They are also about 6" long !! The first job is to trim them so they fit between the grille and the radiator. If you have a meshe grille, you will need to measure where you are gonna put the ports, you'll then have to cut a cross in the grille and bend back the grille, insert the ports and keep bending back until the port fits flush against the mesh. For the air duct port, you need to get some sort of piping 60mm or more. You'll then need to attatch this to the port and feed it through past the radiator to the K&N. Once this is done you should be able to refit the grille to your car and see if it fits flush or wether the ports are still too deep and need trimming further, hope that helps you. By 60mm, i meant circumference, not long !!
And also by bending the grille back to fit the port flush, i meant bend the mesh not the grille !!
