I used to love going to them, but the last few cruises I have been to have been totally shit. The stockport one just put me off completely. There just seem to be so many more knobheads drinking beer there and then driving around the car park. and very few nice cars, mostly all shit old XR2's or old escorts, but then I suppose stockport's cruise isn't really a proper cruise, it is more a meeting of scallies! lmao!

I agree breeny. I much prefer to go to track days nowadays. A really good atmosphere and time to get the most out of your car on the circuit. Great stuff!

stockport is not a cruise it's on every night.... mopeds/stolen cars etc etc go there at ur own risk

southport is good and is sorted by me and kayll.. police and council are informed and the beach is sutably signed and policed as required, it's a good day out

I only bought it last night and got 5 min's down the road you should of seen it smoke everywhere, it's in pretty bad condition but a bit of work mainly clutch, brakes spark plug's and bit of bodywork and it'll go further than a few miles(without a towbar or trailor)

you can't pick up for me *cough* because it should be getting picked today.

If i can get a digi-cam before the phone line get's cut off i'll put pic's up

if only you were driving it when the clutch was still intact, it was so funny, i had to kepp the accelerater to the floor because of the sparks keep my from near the clutch to stop it stalling in first gear while going up hill because of the sparks (checked it out it was running on at most 2 cylinder's) and had my hand on the handbrake to stop.

your probably wondering how we got it started well,

1. after figuring out the battery was flat we tried to jump start it but couldn't then the bloke who was selling it towed it with his landrover to jumpstart, but he took the key's out off the ignition (stupid t***) so the the steering lock went on

2. when it started there was so much smoke it looked like a transit deisel
3. when i got in it stalled so we pushed it down an hill about three times

even though i had my foot to the floor (literally) the engine didn't blow up

and in the loot it say's "good runner"

guess what just towed my car back from chester to warrington town everything was fine until my battery went flat so i couldn't use the lights, then the right brake went bang just needed to put my brake down harder
