AT LAST I HAVE BROUGHT MYSELF A DECENT SR. IT IS J REG, DONE 67,000 MILES GOT FIVE SPOKES ON, PECO EXHAUST, KENWOOD TEN DISC CHANGER AND STEREO, IT IS IN MINT NICK ALL FOR ?1700:D .WHAT I NEED TO KNOW NOW IS WHERE CAN I GET CHEAP INSURANCE AND HOW MUCH QUICKER ARE THEY THAN THE 1.3SR:-/

whihc is mean tbe quicker coz it's my first car and i haven't passed my test yet. My mate has got a standard 1.3 sr and i was just woundering whihc was meant to be quicker off the mark and top end out of the two :-/

Work it out mate, both same weight, using same carb and same weight block, but one has larger capacity! Silly question me thinks. If both are set up in ideal circumstances the 1.4 will be quicker. If you`ve got a straight through exhaust, and your m8 has only got a back box, as long as your car is runnin right, you will be quicker. (as long as ya 5spokes aint nothing silly like 18") lol! :D

bout a second.enjoy tryin to find insurance mate.Mine was gonna be ?4 grand for an sri J plate.Thats on my own name fully comp.I got it down to ?850 mums name Third party fire and theft and thats for a groupo higher than urs.
