Relocating electric window swithches

A mate of mine was thinkin of moving his window swithches to his doors, but was wanting like Corsas, to have two swithches on the drivers side. One for his window and one for the passenger window, then obviously, one on the passenger side. How could this be done?

if u already have lecky windows in then all u do is take the centre box out and snip wires and run them behind the dash and through a hole in the door and car shell, the same hole the door speakers normally run through. and then connect the lecky window switches back up and put them in your door. and to get a passenger one in the passenger side do, u will need tofine witch set of wires are the passenger side lecky window wires and connect another set or wires from them and run them behind the dash again to the p[assenger side door. johnathan evans has done it! good luck.

what a long winded way of doing it!!... also the way u say if you pressed down on the pass window and the pass pressed up it would blow the fuse

snagging the wiring loom from a corsa would be much easier?

it wud be a mission the wires are wrapped in well tightly.

I think you should jus leave em where they are, ita a bit of a mission.

And what does it acheive fuck all.

get a corsa haynes and the additional parts if fitted... then make a one off loom

basicaly you need to extend the current loom into the doors, easily done. then you need an extra switch for the drivers door, this needs to be spliced into the loom for the passenger switch, probably near the centre console/where you ran it back behind the dash. to get around it blowing a fuse if u both press the switch at the same time you'll probably need some sort of relay go to this site and they'll be able to tell you how to do that bit in there forums,

its a simple enuff job should take you an hour at most really. the hardest part is sitting the switches in the door card tidyley
