yeh but if another guy decides he wants the gsi front bumper and goes to buy that one advertised and gets a bloody sr one, then well u wudnt be the most happy person around wud u?

And anyway, he sed it was removed from a mk1 sr, so how the bloody hell cud it be a GSi bumper if it was off an SR??

reminds me of when I bought a GSi front bumper from colin smith and got a front and rear GTE bumper instead!

didnt mind - just removed the splitter and flogged it on! Got a GSi bumper and compete interior for ?60 a month later anyway!

look the guy might not know what the bumper really is, but hey - there are pictures of it there to show what it is you are buying.

At the end of the day just because it was removed from an SR it doesnt mean that its an SR bumper. The 1989 SR could have had a facelife and then had a GSI bumper fitted - it just happens in this case he is wrong and its a GTE bumper.

theres no way of distinguishing it as an SR or GTE bumper now its been sprayed as the texture has been covered over (SR) and also the unpainted lower section has now been graffitied I mean sprayed

wisewood
17-10-03, 02:02 PM
well i still say its a gte. lol

i'd go gte.

if i was gonna do colour coded bumpers i'd buy gte ones cos there would be less prep involved
