Hi all

I finally fitted my central locking,

but its well loud!.

also have i wired up the additional motor (drivers) correctly, i just connected it to the pasanger side, so that when the switch is pressed they both lock.

Oh i've left the drivers switch in so i can still loack both doors from inside.

It's all connected to my alarm which works fine but i need a car battery tho :(

So is the central locking supposed to be loud? how can i quieten it?

Thanks

could try putting some pipe lagging around the motors etc to muffle the sound, make sure its not banging anything.

i don't think its the motors as much it mite be the actual lock mech?

did i wire the other solinoid right then? so it works from the pasanger wires?

I didn't bend mine like that the rods i was supplied with wheren't long enough.

But cars fitted with C/L are noisey as well so it shouldn't matter to much really as long as it don't exceed 98db your ok lol.
