What kind of budget are you on, are you looking at big mods like carbs etc or are you looking for cheaper stuff? If it's the latter why not try a k&n bolt on filter and an exhaust; maybe just a backbox like a peco bb4 for about 70quid or an ashley for the same kind of money, or even a full system from someone like ashley for 130quid!
i have a 1.2sx (well it was before i started to mod it.). usual stuff can be done i.e exhuast, de-cat(make a noticable difference) induction kit(green do one that fits straight on), bigger engine.
Have a look at my car spec

Not sure. oil was pissing out from EVERYWHERE and very little power(althouh it was just a 1.2). i only just made it to CPs. Both him and Mark Curtis diagnosed the engine "yep thats fucked" .
Why Will? do you want it :D

well i aint got it on the rollers yet so dont no exactly what power it will running. It has twin 40's, ported, polished, cam, vernier pulley, 4 branch manifold decent exhaust, upgraded valves an springs. The engine the 40's came off is the same spec i think an it was running 112bhp.
