Can ne1 tell me the user names of ne1 who has made a nova pickup...

I looked at my car the other day and thought "how wicked would that look as a pickup..."

I don't need it 2 be practical for seats... i don't need it to be low maintenence i just need it to be done right and make my life carrying ice hockey kits easier... plus who has seen a wide arched nova pickup on 18"s... not me and with the tailights it would look amazing (i think neway)

Just need 2 see some pics thats all... cheers guys....

i want 2 make my mind up so i can start asap

I thought you were doing something with a split rear screen and some other sketchy stuff.

well, when you chop the roof off a nova it wont be the safest of cars around will it?

There is a Blue one in Bristol, can be seen at most cruises etc, has been to weston wheels for the last couple of years.

Was done quite well had a cgae to reinforce what has been chopped away.

The Blokes who work on my car have made a pick up using a saloon, they have put a large roll cage in the back to add stability, the XE engine - its a bit of a beast and also a bit tail happy!!!
How do you add photos to this is it URL or flash or one of the buttons above? - I'm not very computer literate!

cheers gunzi

it's all welded up solid.. i drove it with no rear on and there wasn't much flex... as long as you leave the window surrounds in its fine

why is it better to leave the window surrounds in???

i'm gettin bad thoughts about the strength as my rear arches are mainly fibreglass..... hhhmmmmm don't look like 2 good an idea... had a look inside my car and it would take some serious framework 2 be safe

cause they are a stuctural part... it doesn't need any frame work
