I have just Bought a Powerzone head, and now need to get it fitted, Are the Vauxhall head bolts and gaskets good enough to handle a mildly tuned engine (cam, head, manifold, kn, full xhaust) or would Uprated ones be a better choice? If so anyone know where to get them from?
cheers

vaux items shud be fine, its not like they are mods the block wont be able to cope with......... uprated is an option tho :D

your best using the vuax gaskets unless your runing high compression and require a metal gasket!!

How do you raise the compression of the engine? Is it worthwhile? Is it costly?

to increase compression you need to have your head skimmed. it is cheap if you know someone who works in a machine shop
