which air filter?

can any of you guys tell me which is the best and cheapest air filter around for twin 40's? been gettin prices for about ?85 :x for a single pipercross unit, is this a good price?

if any1 has a filter goin spare I might have it off you!

sounds about right, or maybe socks are cheaper? but beware if it backfires u get a toasted engine bay :roll:

I used to run a one piece Pipercross foam one (Covered both 40's) no complaints with it, I paid very little for it at Trax years ago as Pipercross were dismantling their stand and flogging stuff off cheap (Pretty much giving it away!!).
But you could just use socks like Dicko said, I don't think the spitting will be a problem, mine used to do it all the time and the Pipercross foam never caught fire, maybe it's flame retarded?
