I am currently in the process of completely stripping out my nova, and have got to the stage of wanting to remove the sound deadening thats under the carpets, can anyone give me some advice on how to remove this?

500w flood lamp... 30 seconds ish on each section then lift.... wash off glue shit with white sprit... if not repainting then avoid metal scrapers and sharp stuff

also have a bucket handy to drop the bits in... cause it's an arse if it catches fire... or gets on ur shoes

Cool thanks for that guys, i ended up with a blow torch.

Not sure what to do when i do where the rear bench was, i mean it seams a little close to the fuel tank? Am i safe here or should i take a different approach?

A hairdryer will do the job aswell if you dont want to risk using a blow torch. Might take a little longer, but it'll warm it up enough to peel it off.
