when i press the clutch its stiff and squeaky ive greased it and still the same what else could it be?
when you hold the clutch cable in the engine it dont squeak :?
any ideas?
It's not the cable, but the actual mechanical arm that squeaks. I only managed to stop mine from squeaking when I stripped out the entire car and was able to get right underneath the dash to find exactly where it was squeaking. I sprayed some WD40 and plunged the clutch a few times and it stopped squeaking.
Now I know where it squeaks I'll keep me ear out as it's bloody annoying! LOL
Jim
use grease on the cable-pedle joint and the pivot on the "pedle box"
wd40 runs/evaporates away, whereas the grease stays put :)
we all got that prob wouldn't be a nova if it didn't squeak let it be!
well said that man..
lol
