hi, i posted this before but didn't get an answer.......

where does the rev counter get its signal from on a 1.5 td?

im thinking it might be the alternator but not sure

yep yer correct
there will be a connector block comming off the alternator to the loom, the wire should already be behind the clocks ready for a straight foreward install to rev countered clocks
