Crank vent filter. The hose normaly plugs in bottom of standard air filter...

it looks like an oil breather filter. usually you see them attached to oil catch tanks like the ones Mike was flogging at trax. They retail for about ?15 from most halfords etc...

Look good if mounted on a bit of chrome.

Mr Pie - what kind of performance you reckon you can get from the engine running a carb. What carb is it and how easy was it to mod?

I'm getting a 1600 GTE engine soon - just bought a weber 32/34 - am interested in what the potential could be.

Also - my 1.4 engine block is (was) blue - flakey now mind!

only mod we had 2 do was tap a thread in the head and put a bolt in it where the injection was on it othere wise i t rune well and it fucking does well 2

how did u match the 1600 head to the 1400 manifold?

i cannot see any sense in doin this has to be the most backwardstep in engine tuning ive ever seen
