SRI not running dammit

got my sri running today but it has a prob now!,
was running for bout half an hour fine no probs! then i bliped the throttle and it stalled! started again fine then ran so i took it up the road for a blip went well and smooth but then engine management light came on!, went bak home and let it idle and light went out!
bliped the trottle again and light came bk on! then bliped again and the car stalled again and now it wont start! bugger!
basicaly all ive done is replaced the head any clues?

my gearbox one was on the way out and it was fine at idle

quickest way to check is when its in the "not starting" state connect a jump lead between the battery negative and the block and see if it starts

although u never said if it was cranking or not

if its cranking and fuel is ok then i'd check ignition system - and remember its prolly flooded it to f00k with it trying to start with no spark

my enginemanagement light came on when i done me head gasket basically me and me dad had missed a pipe out on the inlet manifold

u cud always try topbuzz for the codes

why not read off the fualt code using paperclip?

just annoying that it was running and now its not!

sorted! crank sensor lead had been rubbing on the alternator! :lol:
