Nova 1.5TD?

I currently have a 1.2 Nova that isn't going to pass it's next MOT in january (held together by rust). I was thinking bout buying a 1.5TD when the time comes, cos i want a diesel car (for economy mainly). What are peoples opinions of these? pros and cons?

for: it's a turbo, its a 1.5, very tweakable engine.

against: its a diesel :lol:

gotta disagree about diesel comment

the 1.5tds are isuzu engine and are bluddy good lump, low blow turbos which is always good for them , fit bleed valve and 8)

they hold there value better than srs too now i imagine

never said it was a bad lump, just saying its a diesel - has a certain... stigma about it.
