I issue my own tax with the use of photoshop 5.5, a scanner, and my trusty Canon printer.

I pay 'real' tax by purchasing petrol, and thus the ammount i pay for the maintenence of roads is directly related to the ammount of use i, erm, use.

The new tax discs have a barcode in the centre of them anyone have any idea what its for possibly preventing fraud :lol:

yeah think it to help make it harder to copy and the wardens will proberly get tesco check out scanners :lol: to see if you paid for a real tax disk

The barcode sits between two silver strips.
These silver strips identify the location and angle of the tax disc to the cameras which then scan the barcode and feedback to a computer which knows if you have valid tax or not. Fraud is no longer an option i'm afraid.

Your theory is a good one marty, but unfortunately the government dont agree with you.

I'll have to make sure that there is ALLWAYS conveniently positioned bird shit over that bit then.

Maybe by keeping my own pigeon and squeezing it's arse over the window every so often.

opps o well as i put one of those annidised tax disk holders on and the gum stuff would stick so now i have it sitting in a slot in my dash looks lokie i need to go buy another holder

hmm iffy one there, but then again motorbikes have their tax disc on the side faring


for a laugh put a product barcode on it instead lol OR you can put messeges into them eg fuck off
