well providing engine is healthy its gonna be slightly better than astra mk2 gte 16v isn't it? astras stats:0-60 7.5 secs and top: 135 mph so nova XE 7 secs ish... and maybe 140 top end. i guess.

DEPENDS ON MANY FACTORS, ONE OF WHICH IS THE GEARBOX YOU USE.

wot driveshafts, wot gearbox, how many miles the engine has done. What engine ur puttingin, assuming the XE lump, has it been modified, air filter coz u cant get standard filter under their. How heavy is ur car, what size wheels.

Its impossible to say...

But u cud guess by looking around the astra 7 secs mark and 140mph... you wouldnt be too far out.

to simplify this answer, with stock F20, 15" rims with 45 profile, air filter, 50K mile XE bog standard lump, I rekon about 7ish depending on weather conditions and top wack of about 135-140 mph also depending on weather.

I have a nova C20XE and they are fast cars out on the road.
Traction is a problem getting to 60mph, but who cares! Drivin hard in 1st will only knacker gearboxes and shafts. etc
Mid-range is where the valver stands out, it will blow away any other hot hatch on the road.
Top end is around 140mph, and 2nd and 3rd gear are mental! :)

why will hard in 1st damage box and shafts... it doesn't in the astra and thats pulling more weight round

wisewood the xe only ever came fitted with the F20 and there is only one kind of F20 so for a standard xe nova you assume one of them is fitted

as for top speed
