does this lk like a nova magnex? as i put it on and it sat a gd few inches away from the hole in the bumper! ne ideas?

Magnex also have a metal 'magnex' tag welded onto the side of the tailpipe too.

Not always, I had a Magnex System for a GSi, and the magnex logo (badge) came seperately and had to be stuck on.

That looks like a magnex for a gsi, does sit further away than one for the sr/Gte, allso exits the bumper in a different place.

Looks like a Magnex for a MK2 Nova, the ones for the MK1 Novas have a smaller bore tailpipe coming from the backbox before the bigger bore tailpipe is welded on.
And the metal Magnex badge is normally just a self adhesive one that is stuck on, However, if you look at the underside of the rear silencer there should be a small square metal tag spot welded on (Little weld in each corner) with the Magnex part number engraved on it (My old MK1 system had that anyway).

it is a magnex i just wondered y it dont fit and it sounds like coz its 4 a mk2 so i will have 2 mod the old bumper 8)

Ive had 2 magnex bboxes for novas, and neither looked like that, also, the magnex tag aint really welded to the tailpipe, its stuck on :( as some thieving git(or some nasty gust of wind or something) has robbed my magnez badge :( incidentally, I got a magnex bbox for sale- pm me?
