SR, SRi, GTE, and GSi

What differences are there between SR, SRi, GTE, and GSi?
I've been told that SR and GTE are MK1, but what I really need to know about is engines, gearboxes, driveshafts and carb/injection...

sr came in both mk1 and mk2 format
sri came in only mk2 format
gte came in only mk1 format
gsi came in only mk2 format

gte are 1.6 multipoint injection only.
sr came in both 1.3 and 1.4 carburettor. with some very rare foreign models being fitted with 1.3 irmscher injection.
sri came in 1.4 multipoint injection only
gsi came with 1.6 multipoint injection only

Looks like a MK1 GTE with a GSi badge on the tailgate to me, no GSi badges on the doora and no interior pics neither (Which would at least show a MK2 dash and GSi interior).
I think someone's trying to pull a fast one..................

f10 on anything 1.2 to 1.4

f13 on 1.6

these come in different guises of final drive and also ratios. both wide and close ratio.

if you stick with the SFi unit make sure you get your injectors cleaned up or buy new ones.
