Did some more work to the beast today, whilst doing so, I was listening to the radio and therefore killing the battery, as I tried to start it, it wouldn't have it!

So as well as an oil change, tax, and a new hazard switch needing to be done, also need a new battery, it would come as a time were I am skint and will be for the next few months! typical!

Anyway, just want a bit of advice really on a decent battery, I know they are all fairly similer, but is there any that in your opinion has out shon the others in reliability?

For the GTE, I bought a Calcium Technology Battery for ?50 from Halfords!

Its all fun!

pop round my yard mate ive got a charger. hell ive even got a spare battery off the two cars i have broken!!!!

i knew my first reply would be thta, lol, dont have a charger, not too keen on them anyway, the battery just dies immediately after anyway!

it used to be either the purple colour all over, or the pinky colour all over i cant remember.

Martins car used to be pink all over, then a few people started to paint their cars the same colour, so Martin and Ray decided to add 'something unique' so the car stood out.

Same with the Lime Green nova (Also from Birmingham) which was featured in Fast Car a few years back with the LET lump under it (Clints one), That ent seen the road since the accident :cry: , but its like Subaru Prodrive blue but a bit lighter now, also because lime green was also seen on a lot more Nova's
