Hello - Rat Out and My fiesta is better.....
Every time I come on here lately there is yet another locked post and it's beginning to annoy me quite a bit and there seems like there is not much chance of it stoping any time soon......SO I want to have my post locked so that I feel like part of the site once more and can go about happily with my life again.....

I am not trying to provoke any arguements I am simply stating that I am fed up and wish to be locked.

Yes corsanova it is a very different site now. there was a time when i was on here everyday now it doesn't bother me anymore :?

I know ive not been here long, but ive been here long enough to notice afew things too. When id finish work this'd be the 1st site id come on as soon as i got back home but things change.
Maybe my 'nova thing' is wearing thin.

Actually think this post should be moved to muppet corner. Still dont wanna get banned, even if novaload has 'changed'. Which i dont think it has. I think it could just be the way we see it that has. WE are the ones that have changed.

Ok, It is morning, I have slept and had time to reflect, I am still peeved, but not to the extent I was last night...BUT this is the way I see it - I have not been with the site very long, however, as far as I see it, in my first 1400 worth of post I don't believe I saw anyone banned and only one locked topic....In my last 390 odd post's I have seen 2 bannings and countless locked post's - Now tell me the site has not changed...

yes it has changed................time has a habit of doing that.
but where you see admin locking posts/banning people they are trying to bring it under controll so the muppets don't take over with pointless shit like rat out
that rat out fool was banned for posting utter shite, one line posts saying rat out in diff forums, then sending messages to admin saying who the fuck do you think you are.
if thats the kind of posts and attitude you want on the site you will be upset.
Posting a post like this in the first place is what causes the site to appear to have "changed".
There have been a number of complete muppets coming on this site recently. I'm getting p****d off with people joining that dont have Novas or appear to have no intrest in Novas - why bother joining Novaload?
Some of us have been here for a while (I'm talking 3 years +) and joined because it was a website for Nova enthusiasts. If I wanted to join a website where there are other types of cars I would join cruise-south, but my intrest is in Novas.
Splitting the forums up has allowed more variety in topic, and I'm prepared to load up the general chat forum and see some topics that are completley irrelevant from time to time, but it really bugs me when people come on asking for help with other types of vehicles.

Since Ian has already addressed the matter of the 'rat out' incidents i shall comment on the rest of it.
The site may be changing, but all of this has been disgussed before not too long ago as prompted by Ben... if your views of the site are changing perhaps this is because things are being disrupted by new members coming in with an attitude problem :lol:
During all of your time here corsanova i am damn sure there have been more locked posts / bannings than you have been made aware of. This sort of thing, locked/moved/deleted posts happens all the time, quite often several times a day - i know this because its usually me that has to do it.

Afraid to say its a busy online community.. of course its going to change depending on what members use it the most. There are always times when a few muppets come over and insist on slating members/there cars whatever they want to... What would happen if they were just left to it??
What is it you want? For people not to be banned or posts not locked so that its just one big free for all for any muppets who come on site?
Over the years the forum has changed a hell of a lot! You should have seen it when I first joined! People come and go... theres still quite a number of people who have been here for many years like Jim said. I think that says quite a lot... In my opinion novaload is still one of the best "nova" based communities around, if you want to see out of control and abuse just go over to roybacer. Every other post is abuse, but if thats what rocks your boat..
Fuck knows how long i been here, i guess year or so..
As time goes on things change and so do people who use it, admin do a good job by banning people like luke (rat out kid) and angela. (hello everyone girl.)

As I thought might happen, the senior staff have got me wrong..
My issue is not that you are banning or locked, more that 'in my eyes' there seems to be a lot more of it lately, possibly the ones of late have been a little more 'high profile' and therefore more noticed..AT NO POINT did I say anything about NOT banning, locking etc..
Now, if this has pee'd you 'higher' members off too much, just say so...Ian, Breeny, Slimjim etc...and I shall leave with my tail between my legs and not return. I chose Novaload because I thought it was a site that not only provided good info and debate, but also good friendship under the right circumstances..

you have hit the nail on the head - the recent stuff has been more high profile as this is an attempt to show other members that this stuff is going on and we are not just letting things go.
if this is making for a bad atmosphere it can easily be sorted so that its all cloak and dagger again.

The site is now full of complete muppets.
I am completely p*ssed off with it and have considerd not logging on a few times but there are certain people that i can only communicate with through the site so this out ways all the crap from the muppets.
Asd said loads of times there are always a few flying about but lately there are loads and they are making an even bigger meal of it.
Just got to look at the amount of posts that some of the older members make now its probably about half what they were posting a few months back.
When i brought up before everything was fine and dandy wasnt it :!:

styling forum is my fave to be honest, though it does get repetitive.
i got disheartened with the site after a bit, as i'd come back after work, log on and there'd be nothing i deemed 'interesting' to read or that i actually wanted to reply to, where as sometimes i'd come on 'just for a bit' and end up sitting here for ages. lol
(Like now - only came on to read new posts/replys, but as soon as i am 'about to move on to another forum', someone adds something and etc.
STOP IT YOU LOT, i just want to reply to all the new posts and go!! Make new ones AFTER i've left!!! lol
