I've just bought a GTE rear bumper and want to know how to fit it to a mk2 as i've been told its not a straight swap.
Will i need the brackets off the GTE as i didn't get these?
Are all mk1 rear bumper brackets the same?

Cheers

from memory i think the mk2 bumper has two bolts that u screw in from inside the rear arch into the bumper (through the wing)

the mk1 / gte bumpers have a fixed block to the side of the car, and the sides of the bumper only slide into the block, rather than it being fixed like a mk2.

aside from this is the two bolts im sure your aware of INSIDE your boot, but there the same......

thats all i can remember at this point.

ill check out me mk1 and mk2 2moro to compare

mikes right, mk2 has blocks attached to the bumper with self tappers comming through rear arch to secure

should be easy to bolt on the slider of the GTE bumper to outside rear arch :)
