nice one mate good luck. should be a torque monster. bit different isn't it.
does anyone remember (might sound silly here,) a red nova at pv2002 with issachunt stickers down it (looked bit rough) beating a scooby p1 down the quarter mile; wasn't that an 2.0 8v? but it has loads a nos.

Yes his car also has a large turbo and is the fastest front wheel drive nova in the country i think the 1/4 was 12.48?

Theres a guide in TV this month about tuning the 8v engine. I think they use the 2.0 and 1.8 8v engines.

I agree with Will, what about getting the car repaired first?

the accident is being done, it's getting repaired. the engine is going to mikes house where bits and bobs are being done down there, few other things that i dont wanna tell anyone yet. It's been estimated at 160-170BHP, and on top of that im adding a 4 branch manifold, so god knows what it'll be.
anyway the engine is mint and should be a good project for me and mike. ill keep u updated with pics wen i can.

yeah everyone listen up, MIKE HAS NOT TOLD ME ANYTHING ABOUT THIS ENGINE, he knows nothing, when he reply's to posts its actaully after hours of research on the net for answer then he types it up making it look like he knows it all, he's actually a spaz.
lol
ive been told all this by the guy i brought the engine off.

Yeah its a standard engine, injection tho not carb.

yeah.....Mike phones me up if hes got a queston about an engine. He he he! I might have my 2.1L 16V red top up for sale soon. Never run, AE pistons, ARP rod bolts, all new bearings on bottom end, skimmed head fully cleaned and rebuilt with everything replaced, all new seals and gaskets, refurbed pumpsetc...

What do you rekon its worth? ????????????

Cost me.................................

.....a lot of time!
