not to sure what your looking at but generaly you only switch positive/live

Its to make it remote central locking, as there are different diagrams for + and - ,

think what ste's sayin is the alarm will have a central locking output, this can only b connected to the locking two ways, either wire 1 from the alarm output on brown/white or wire 1 on brown/red and whichever wire isn't on wire 1 connects to wire2, if it works the wrong way round then you turn the wires round.
