its actually gonna be the missus' car but since the clio is officially "ours" the gsi can be "ours" too. As far as i am concerned anyway lol.

as long as i get a go from time to timei will be happy.
will be useful for driving back n forth on motorways etc as the 1.2 clio isnt much cop at high speeds really.

he will knock 200 off the 595 price for suspension and brakes that need attention?

erm 16v set up ?70 approx

good lowering kit ?200

so for ?650 you could have a quality GSI :D

get in, take pics tho i wna see thats a good price, wots the mileage?

dunno about mileage, didnt ask him - he sounded a bit thick

will just give car a good look over in all the usual trouble spots (i been here long enough to know what they are) and as long as the engine sounds alright etc it'll do.

Not really bothered about mileage as long as its been reasonbly looked after it dont really matter anyway - vauxhall engine so hard as nails :D Not like some other stuff, french cars for example lol.

Mileage on a 14 year old car aint worth worrying about. makes me laugh when people moan on about it.

take some piccies woody.

I agree with ben, base it all on condition not miles. Miles only makes a difference on new cars.

Hhmmmnnn - ?595 and willing to drop ?200 before you have even looked at it...Check the paperwork WELL, poss even get a HPI done if you intend to keep it for yourself...Mileage means nothing, my car has gone through 3 sets of clocks and is currently showing 96,000 on a 4,000 mile engine, 500 mile running gear etc etc..

it definately sounds very dodgy to me, anyone that tells you over the phone that he will knock ?200 off, when it is already pretty cheap, has got to be upto something!!!

Either he has some big debts and needs to clear them or he has nicked the car from someone.

If it is legit, you are a lucky git!!! lol

her financial obligations changed, she was going to buy a type R, but then decided the money could be better spent on other things. I agree too.

In a few years time maybe she will look at getting a brand new car - but for now something cheaper is the best idea. Brand new car means losing thousands almost over night, that sorta money lost over three eyars would buy 3 or 4 nova gsi's - and there are more important things in life than the car you drive to be honest.

The gsi we looked at was a right munter tho
engine is absolutely mint - but the rest of it really lets it down unfortunately.
