Steering Wheel problems

Bought a standard steering wheel from someone off here.

Took the momo one off, but when i put the standard one on, the indicators wouldn't cancel.

Has something changed with the switch or anything like that?

With the two wheels next to each other, the momo one looks totally different to the vauxhall one.

I have a 91 GSi (on a j plate)

have you taken off, modified, or put on a new horn ring on the back of the steering wheel...........?

no - it won't cancel even with the horn ring removed - so it isn't a spacing issue.

the horn ring behind the steering wheel NEEDS to be in place..... its the sticky out bit on the edge that cancels them

i didn't realise the horn ring was different on the standard wheel to the momo wheel (not ever having taken off a standard wheel before)
