FANKS :D
dont just hit it with a hammer. get it cut and welded properly. don't think you can get a gte bumper without the cut out but dont quote me.
Init bo selecter craig david did it all over your.. doink
Novamark- I had centre exit on both nova's i had, first one I had routed round spare wheel well, looked good put ball ache...
Centre exit on my recently-departed car (as seen in 2.016v section!) had spare wheel well cut out and a section of vectra bonnet welded in (because it has strenthening bars) but got a hell of a lot of vibration-related noise. Personally, if i was to do a nova again, i would use loads of sound deadening and a couple of strips of wood across the boot floor to try and sound deaden. I don't have any pics of my first nova but loads of my second if you are interested!
Damn Rick what happened to your valver? Sounds like you had a bit of trouble with some local ruff-necks?
Shame as I loved that car.
Make sure the metal you use if as thick as possible to stop the vibration caused. (if you cut the spare wheel out)
Just bare in mind if you re route it around the spare wheel well, you *may* lose a few hp.

so am you absolutly sure i wont get a GTE bumper with out a cut out in if not it'll have to be a GSI/91 spec bumper
The only way you'll get a GTE bumper without the exhaust cut out is if you take it to a bodyshop and ask if they can plastic weld the cut out up and respray the bottom lip.

There are no 'off the shelf' center exit zaust available to buy.
You'd have to go to a place that makes custom systems, such as powerflow.
So has anyone actually got any pics of a centre exit exhaust from underneath fitted??

You have the spare wheel well removed and weld in a metal sheet. Most bodyshops can do this for you.
