nice owrk mate - looks ace!
i see how you can roll the car, but what did you put down so no damage was done to the panels (and to get if off the floor).
i came up with a "spit" for that purpose, but it would take a fair bit of space and effort to make lol

Looks good m8. 8)
you can buy roll frames from clarke tools.
This the basic ones about ?80 though allows you to roll the car onto its side - handy for spraying the roof which can be an absolute bitch.
Gonna get me one of them!

how much stress is it placing on the rear bumper mounts??
And how can the trueness of the repairs (ie straight chassis) be garunteeed? lol
rather funky. may have to bodge one up too when i get my act together
So Ste what's the grand plan if you don't mind me asking? You going for a concours rebuild or a kind or Brett W type affair?

lol all u can do is pick faults cambridge
"So Ste what's the grand plan if you don't mind me asking? You going for a concours rebuild or a kind or Brett W type affair?"
is bretts not concours?
wasnt picking faults, just querrying how it was fitted and how "structurally safe" it was.
did i say "oh its crap, i dosent dol onto this taht and the other" hmm NO
its usual to have people ask questions when something different and a bit clever is done. surely you'd be more hacked off if no one replied and just ignored this rather cunning piece of semi agrcultural engineering.
lol all u can do is pick faults cambridge
Thats all you do most of the time tho Ste

Trueness of the repairs is nowt to worry about as IIRC when ste brought the car it had had the new boot floor and rear quarter pannel as it had been rear ended and he did not know till he pulled the upper interior trim off near the rear seat belt upper mounting points. Rick
I gotta get me a welding kit!
the things I'd do!
- had a dream last night I'd welded batman style bits onto the back of me nova after stripping it down!
