Hello all been off scene 20 years blah
Aquired mk1 td Friday. Been lowered mk3 astra hubs f18 box loads of torque but all over shop
Been lowered Probobally too low but standard shocks
Castor camber out inner tyre wear had spax on last redtop and plated over lower control arms and I recall re drilling to pull in track end would this sound right? Think had gte arb
Any input really appreciated

It's going to torque steer, not a great deal can be done about that to be honest, if it's on standard shocks but lowered they will be shagged 100% unless its only like 40mm which I'm assuming it's not. Tyres any good? Do they have monster side walls? Sounds like it wants tracking too, get the easy stuff done first like decent suspemsion and a good tracking job with good tyres and go from there

Many thanks for your reply I had one years ago and it was pretty tite
Got eye on some Billy's I modified my control arms on one I'm. Sure re drilled somthing on there but cannot remember exactly what

If it were me I'd get the geometry checked to see what's officially out and put it all back to how it should be. Then check track rod ends & bottom ball joints (which'll probably be picked up by the chap doing the wheel alignment), plus bushes. If any of that is worn it'll feel all over the place, exacerbated by the extra weight and torque of the bigger motor.

Many thanks going to change shocks as been lowered on oe shocks and possibly too low then get it down there as a starting point
It's exiting getting back into it all been long time
