msn loggin me in!

whenever our pc is connected to the net i get logged in to MSN and the little box is not ticked to auto log in!!
there was a few conversations there when looked as with what happened to ben.
i wasn't even using the pc
dont know how to knock the auto log in thing

doesn't make sence that it logs me in even though the box has no tick in it?

I have that problem on win98, sommat to do wi me setting it up to always dial my default connection or some gobbledygook like that.

ye im not sure if thats a fualt with xp but i know a few people having the same problem, as soon as u log in to windows it logs u in msn.

only way to stop it is to remove msn from the run folder in the registry and rather click on the icon when u do wanna run it!

I've got a couple of small script programs that will disable MSN starting up on connection, one stops it doing it, the other puts it back to how it is now.
If you want them then just drop me a email and I'll send them your way.


N.B> If your running Internet security, then when you run it, you may get a warning about it being a malicious script, tell your security program to run it anyway and it'll work without a problem.
