My nova 2L conversion project

Hi new to the group thought I’d post as I go along with my nova.
iv had the nova for 7 years now got it just before I turned 14, had it on the road when I was 17 as my first car and since then it’s been on and off the road. Now 21 and finally the time to change the engine and do the 2.0 8V Iv always wanted to do so recently started.

Sounds like a similar story. My Nova was given to me when I was 16, so I started my mechanical learning form there on. It was my daily for 5 years then when the headgasket went it was time for a conversion. I've had it now for 20 years!

There's tons of info here on almost everything you could think of. I do like to 2.0 8v engine, simple, reliable and in a Nova pretty economical too. I assume you're looking at the 20SEH?
