Gearbox stuck

I'm having a problem with 2 cars with f20 gearboxes.
Every now and then they both get stuck in second gear when shifting up to third.
Gearbox has 2nd gear engaged and selector fork is in neutral.
Removing turret and putting back into neutral only helps for a while, untill it gets stuck in 2nd again..

Anyone has ideas?

Maybe engine moves to much pulling to much on selector forks?

I had this, years and years ago.....

Back then my only solution was another box but now I'd possibly try a different turret, maybe that's worn??

Worth a try.

Suppose it could be worn synchros not allowing 2nd to release........but eliminate the easy change options first

Both cars have dogboxes, have already changed turret on one nd stays the same.. somedays nothing happens, somedays gets stuck 3 times in 2nd gear.
Just dont understand how its even possible to have 2nd gear engaged and have the gear selector in neutral, since theres no gap for the selector to pass through..
