i dont think you can as it has big stickers all over it saying once it has been signed for it was signed for in good condition and they cant take any responsability, and i wasnt in when it came.
Everyone thinks i should send it back but if it is a simple enough repair i would rather repair it as i have been waiting ages for them and i paid ?10 p&p and i aint paying that to send it back

i would have thought the body shop you are having them fitted at could fix it no problem, just a bit of fibreglass should do it easy enough.

if its on the back then ye a ?5 fibreglass kit, make sure you mix it right and theres no grease on the damaged bit b4 u put the patch on. if you can get somebody who has worked with fibreglass before as it can be very messy if u dont know what ye doin

Signing for a delivery doesnt waive your statutory rights linzi. All it states is that the item was received - to cover the couriers from liability.

Because the item hasn't been attempet to be fitted/painted yet, you CAN get compensation/refund.

It was either sent damaged, or damaged in transit.

Either way, you have to contact the supplier (who you purchased it off) about the refund, as you have the contract with them and not with the couriers directly.

And since you paid p&P it should have been insured, so it's their problem if it wasnt. Dont send tio back, but let them know that they can either arrange to collect it and replace it, OR they can pay the extra it will cost to have it repaired.

Call Trading Standards if you have a problem being compensated.

Also, when signing for items, it's best to write 'received but not checked' rather than a signature.

agree with marty totally!

Idf however youre lazy and the body shop are fitting it I;d let them fix it - It wont cost extra (minimal) and they'll make a much better job than you.

No offence but thats what theyre paid for.

If however youre doing it yourself, post a pic of the detqail of the damage and I'll post a detailed repair guide for ya! or pm me
