Looking at making one up but what material are people using to make there’s and where are you getting it from?
Im wanting a Gloss/Shiny black finish but cannot find anything suitable and wide enough.
Also does it simply rest in place if made snug enough I.e rest on the inner lip of the scuttle and battery?
Thanks
Carbon fibre sheet would be my choice. You used to be able to buy them pre cut for the hinges etc.
I would have thought you need to give it support back and sides. May sit on the lip front if you cut it to perfection.

I was looking to replicate this one, doesn’t look like carbon fibre. I assumed it was a shiny plastic board of some sort. Large boards of carbon are coming up relatively pricey.

I picked my Carbon one up off ebay for £22. However it is cut shorter than the hinges.
Mine is also cut to fit between the plastic mesh thingys at the back.
