1.6gsi head on 1.4sri?

realy want my sri on the road this wk end, as some will know its cracked its head!
no one has a 1.4sri head so can i fit a gsi one? what are the pros/cons of it? ie compresion ratio etc!

or is a 1.2 one better just need to know the facts so i can buy a head! :wink:

gsi will fit as far as i know but will be low on compression.

c16se head will go streight on but you;ll get low compression

E16se head has a port for the EGR valve which will need blocked up or summat

iv got a whole sri engine in the garage but i keep it incase me 16v goes on me :-/

look for early corsa sri's they have that head as early ones were 8v

CP gave me (a) head a while back, infact he did it twice, but i had to return it the second time
