I have a set of Koni rear shockers, if I put them on with standard SR rear springs will it make the handling better or create issues?

Good shocks on standard springs is generally fine but stiff lowering short springs on standard shockers is no good

Thanks, that's what I thought from what you said regarding the front but just wanted to check, at least I have a use for the rear shockers. I assume using these shockers at the rear won't cause issues even with just standard SR suspension on the front too.

First check they're standard length. Shorter body shocks on standard springs isn't really a goer.

I would not want standard springs and "uprated" shocks but it depends on the characteristics of the shock.

Thanks, I jus put a coilover kit on the car, no MOT issues and it handles fine with reasonable road manners.

Have you had them set up? Camber ride height ect?

Set them how I like the car, it's just a road car so not needing anything too severe.
