Ive got a outer cv joint on my Nova c20xe with F20 and it needs replacement. Only thing is..i dont know wich type to order. Made some measurements and counted the teeth on the axle where it slices into the steering hub: 33
Can anyone tell me which cv this is? Some other measurements are on the paper. Thanks allot.

Someone will confirm this,

If it's big block hubs then you need a 1992 2.0 litre Calibra outer CV.

If it's small block hubs then I'm not sure!!!

Are they proper shafts or nova gsi shafts with mk2 cav inners?

This is the inner, maybe it answers your question. (Got the axle back in the car so couldnt tell how much teeth this side has.) The shaft itself is in 1 piece, not welded.

Sorry pal non of that makes any sense what so ever . I would hope the shafts are not welded aswell . Are they conversion shafts? If so you just need a cav/calibra outer cv . If you have nova shafts ie 22 spline gsi type then the outer will be a nova cv joint .

Look like big block shafts so any abig block outer cv, say astra/kadett gte/gsi 16v

If it is big block then these will work

Might have to hammer the ABS ring off if they have them and possibly cut the thread down as they can be a bit long and stick out of the centre of the wheel

Ok so i toke it back off and the axle has 25 teeth on both sides, and so ofcoure the CV inner teeth are also 25. As said the cv on the wheelside has 33 and the cv on the trannyside has 34.
My gues i need cv's from a Vectra 2.0, but a quick seach reveals it has a ABS ring, and as said by one of you its spine is a bit to long so i have to cut it of a bit.

I'm sure you've already sorted it, but I think that's big block CV i.e. Cav/Astra 2.0

The ABS rings are press fitted on, so IF it does foul (try it first, it might clear fine) then you can use a hammer and chisel to knock them off.

You sometimes get thin spacers that go between the bearing and outer CV to push the CV in a few millimetres, I assume for this reason.

If your wheels have centre caps you may need to cut the end shorter again, put a nut on first and it'll clean the cut threads when you remove it.

You can use two Nova washers on the nut side to make the split pin hole line up with the castle nut.
