Novaload Rolling road day

Who fancies meeting up for a rolling road day in the near future, im not intrested in people replying if your going to say "i would if my car was built or running etc" I just want a rough list of how many people are genuinely going to turn up, the date is not fixed so will sort that in due course.

Was thinking of somewhere like Velos as i know they are central, accurate etc etc

Could use interpro down here wich everyone would love as they would all have Skyline readings.

Sounds good but it's the sort of thing that needs planning perhaps with a vote for where to have it?

I'm near MANCHESTER and have been to POWERZONE near blackburn, WELL LANE TURBO CENTRE, yorkshire, GTI CENTRE in yorkshire, TD TUNING in manchester and they all charge around ?20 per car for a power run and printout (with the exception of TD TUNING, thats a tenner but no printout!)

Add to this the opportunity to all meet up and see each others cars in the fles and it sounds top...

Keep me informed! Although I no longer have a NOVA i'll be there in my Corsa or my new car (whatever i end up getting)

id be up for it if its within 100miles of stoke, velos is ideal for me but has anybody spoke to them? its not THAT accesible unless we all parked on the country road then came in 1 at a time!!

We have asked about it before and they said "yes" providing:

1. There arent too many -probs 15 max ?Its very small and access and parking is limited
2. We all behave ourselves. I cant imagine any probs from us lot but they have had abuse before now from some twats who thought that they shud be getting more power than the rollers were showing just cos they had bolted a cossie cone on or summink. They were also twatting about like nobs in the nearby lanes pretending they were Marcus Gronholm and causing major grief.
3. Their rollers read about the lowest I've seen (I've been on 5 different ones)so if you have been to your local "thinkofanumberandaddten" rolling road :lol: and recorded 90hp at the fly for your lightly modded 1.4 SR dont be disappointed if you only get 65hp at the wheels at Velos.

Its a place to find out what your car is making in the real on the tarmac world :lol:

i would say they are the best for giving you a good idea about what your car does. and they are genious blokes.

ive only been to one other "accurate" place and that was round the back somewhere in glouster (richard ragg was mapping an engine for us there)

Hang on Velos does seem accurate, but surely they aint gonna be big enough if they can only cater for 15 people max, start off a list to see howe many we get.

Yep ive just brought a 2ltr nova so id be up for see what it would get on the rollers as long as its not in the next couple of weeks, velos is a good idea
